CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (1 day) (click to see flyers) - Get certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, First Aid and Automated External Defibrillation. Date and Times: July 15 at 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Cost: $50

Fitness Activities for Physical Education Teachers (2 days) (click to see flyers) – Experience innovative approaches to implementing fitness principles and equipment in daily physical education. This hands on workshop will show the proper use of stability balls, med balls, dumb bell routines, jump ropes, station work outs, and more.  Date and Times: July 13 and 14 at 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Cost: $125 (course may be taken for ISU graduate credit - additional cost $264.40 for ISU In-State Tuition*).

Understanding Nutrition, Exercise and Weight Control (2 day) (click to see flyers) - This workshop will provide an understanding of basic nutrition and exercise principles as they relate to weight control.  Date and Times: July 13 and 14 at 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Cost: $125 (course may be taken for ISU graduate credit - additional cost $264.40 for ISU In-State Tuition*). 

Adventure Challenge (2 day) (click to see flyers) – This workshop provides an introduction to facilitation methods and curricular ideas for adventure education with a variety of team building activities included. Date and Times: June 4 and 5 at 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Cost: $125 (course may be taken for ISU graduate credit - additional cost $264.40 for ISU In-State Tuition*).

Polar Technology (3 day) (click to see flyers) – Attend the physical education tech camp at Illinois State University and learn about the latest fitness technology designed for PE. Find out how this technology can help you objectively assess, monitor, and document student progress while enhancing your PE program.  Date and Times: July 15, 16, and 17 at 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Cost: $250 (course may be taken for ISU graduate credit - additional cost $528.80 for ISU In-State Tuition*)

Adventure Challenge (2 week) (click to see flyers) –  This course focuses on facilitation methods, curricular ideas/school related projects, and assessment tools related to Illinois Learning Standard/Goal 21 (established by the Illinois State Board of Education) “Developing skills in the affective domain such as cooperation, teamwork, fair play, respect, and self-esteem are goals of most school curriculums.” Dates and Times: June 8, 9, 10, and 11 from 8 a.m. – 12 noon and June 15, 16, 17 & 18 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Cost: $250.00 (course may be taken for ISU graduate credit - additional cost $793.20 for ISU In-State Tuition*)(tuition waivers may be used).

*Tuition waivers may be used to pay for graduate tuition credit.  Waivers will not cover ISU General Fees.
